◦ How we keep it private
Your money data is encrypted before it ever leaves your device.
Online Mode is end-to-end encrypted. Your amounts, names, notes and categories are locked on your device with a key derived from your password — a key our servers never receive and never store.
We cannot read your finances
Not "we promise not to" — we're not able to. What reaches our database is unreadable ciphertext. No support agent, no database backup, and no court order can turn it back into your spending.
Your password never reaches us
It's turned into keys in your browser. We only ever see a value derived from it that proves you know it, and can't be worked backwards into the key that unlocks your data.
A recovery key, because we can't reset it for you
You get a one-time recovery key at sign-up. It is the only other way back in. Keep it somewhere safe — if you lose your password and your recovery key, your data is unrecoverable, by us and by anyone. That's the cost of a design where nobody but you holds the key, and we'd rather say so up front than pretend otherwise.

Budgetify: Money Manager.
Every release, documented. See exactly what changed and when.
- Redesigned recurring reminders: cards with “On the day” / “Before”, unit chips, and a real time picker instead of raw number + cycle + 09:00 text.
- Empty reminders now show a clear off state; adding/removing reminders is a dedicated action.
- Renamed Every X Y to Custom interval. The frequency field shows a live label like “Every 2 weeks”.
- Fixed the custom-interval number field: you can clear 1 and type 2 without it snapping back to 12.
- Leaving end date empty now always schedules 60 occurrences for daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and custom Every X Y (not a different horizon per unit).
- Empty end date is treated as open-ended, not as a fake date 100 years out.
