By using Budgetify, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they're written in plain language, not legalese.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Budgetify ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users of the App, including free and paid subscribers. They form a legally binding agreement between you and MrVampCruz ("we", "us", "our").
📱 These Terms apply to Budgetify on Android. iOS terms may follow separately when the App is published on the App Store.
Description of Service
Budgetify is a personal finance management application that allows you to track income, expenses, and money transfers across wallets, manage recurring transactions, and monitor your net worth — all operating entirely offline and locally on your device.
Income & expense tracking, money transfers, up to 5 wallets, up to 8 recurring transactions, up to 15 custom categories, net worth overview, local encrypted backup, balance privacy mode, and auto/light/dark theme.
Everything in Free plus: unlimited wallets, unlimited recurring transactions, unlimited custom categories, all visual charts & graphs, transaction labels, custom wallet categories, Google Drive encrypted backup, automatic backup scheduling with version history, and an ad-free experience.
A one-time purchase that removes all advertisements permanently while keeping all Free tier limits intact.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time with reasonable notice where possible.
User Accounts
Budgetify does not require account registration. The App uses Google Sign-In optionally for the following purposes only:
- Enabling Google Drive encrypted backup and restore functionality (Pro only)
- Linking your subscription to your Google account via RevenueCat
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your Google account.
⚠️ If you reset the App or uninstall it without an active backup (local or Google Drive), your data will be permanently lost. We cannot recover local data.
Subscriptions & Billing
Budgetify offers the following paid plans, all processed securely through the Google Play Store:

Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel anytime via Google Play → Subscriptions.
The 7-day free trial (monthly) and the 14-day free trial with 50% first-year discount (yearly) are available exclusively to first-time Pro subscribers. These offers cannot be combined or reused.
Pro subscription prices may increase in the future, and specific new features may be subject to separate pricing conditions for existing subscribers. Lifetime Pro subscribers are exempt — they receive all future features unconditionally at no additional cost.
All payments are processed by Google Play. We never handle or store your payment information directly. Prices are in USD and may vary by region based on Google Play's local pricing.
Refund Policy
All purchases are processed through the Google Play Store and are subject to Google Play's refund policy.
- Google Play allows refunds within 48 hours of purchase for most apps
- For refund requests outside this window, contact us directly and we will review case by case
- Lifetime and one-time purchases are generally non-refundable after 48 hours
- Subscriptions cancelled mid-period continue until the end of the paid period — no partial refunds

Acceptable Use
You agree to use Budgetify only for lawful personal finance management purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
- Use the App to conduct any fraudulent or illegal financial activity
- Attempt to circumvent subscription checks or access Pro features without a valid subscription
- Attempt to decrypt or tamper with backup files created by the App
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App or any part of it
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
🚫 Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your access to the App without refund.
Data & Backups
Budgetify stores all your financial data locally on your device. We do not operate servers that hold your data.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data
- Local encrypted backups are available to all users (Free and Pro)
- Google Drive encrypted backups, automatic scheduling, and backup history are Pro features
- All backup files are AES-256 encrypted — only Budgetify can decrypt them
- We are not liable for data loss due to device failure, app uninstall, or OS updates
- Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all local data with no recovery option

Budgetify is a personal finance tracking tool — it is not a financial advisory service, bank, or regulated financial institution.
Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.
Exchange rates displayed in the App are for informational purposes only and may not reflect real-time market rates. Do not rely on them for actual currency conversions.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MrVampCruz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Loss of data or inability to access your financial records
- Errors or inaccuracies in calculations, charts, or exchange rates
- Any financial decisions made based on information in the App
- Interruption or discontinuation of the App or any features
- Unauthorised access to your device or Google account
- Failure to maintain adequate backups of your data
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the three months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Budgetify at any time by uninstalling the App and cancelling any active subscriptions via Google Play.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for users who violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination:
- Your local data remains on your device until you uninstall the App
- Active subscriptions will continue until the end of the paid period
- Google Drive backups remain in your Drive until you manually delete them
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or our practices. When we make significant changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify users through an in-app notice where appropriate
Your continued use of Budgetify after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
