Your privacy is
our priority.
Budgetify: Money Manager is built on a simple principle — your financial data belongs to you and only you. This policy explains exactly how we handle it.
Information We Collect (App)
Budgetify: Money Manager is designed as a local-first, fully offline application. The vast majority of data you enter never leaves your device.
Wallet names, transaction details, categories, labels, and any financial data you enter. This is stored exclusively in your device's private local storage — never on external servers.
If you choose to sign in with Google to enable Google Drive backup, we access your Google account ID and display name solely for that purpose and to identify your subscription with RevenueCat.
Anonymous crash reports and performance data may be collected by third-party SDKs (RevenueCat, Google AdMob) to help us improve app stability. This data is never personally identifiable.
🛡️ Within the Android app itself, we do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it in the app profile settings. Data submitted through our website's contact form is covered separately in Section 02.
Website & Contact Form
Our website (budgetify.mrvampcruz.com) collects information only when you choose to submit our contact form. Submitting the form is entirely optional, and the Android app itself never sends any of the data described below.
Your name, email address, an optional subject, and your message. We use these solely to read your inquiry and reply by email.
Along with your message we automatically collect technical metadata from your browser to help us reproduce bug reports, diagnose issues, and prevent abuse:
- Browser user agent, Client Hints (brands, platform, architecture, model, bitness), vendor/product strings, and webdriver flag
- Language, languages list, locale, Intl locale details, timezone name/offset, and formatted date/time sample
- Screen size, available size, color/pixel depth, orientation, device pixel ratio, viewport and visual-viewport metrics
- Hardware concurrency (CPU cores), device memory, max touch points, battery status (where available)
- Network connection type/effective type, downlink, RTT, save-data flag; WebRTC-discovered local/LAN IPs when the browser exposes them
- Canvas, audio, and WebGL fingerprints (GPU vendor/renderer and related capability params)
- Storage estimate (quota/usage), media-device counts (camera/mic/speaker), permission states, plugins and MIME types
- Speech synthesis voice list (sample), cookie/online/DNT/GPC flags, PDF viewer enabled, history length
- CSS media-query preferences (color scheme, reduced motion, pointer/hover, contrast, display mode)
- Page URL, pathname, search, hash, origin, referrer, document title/character set/visibility, and a session id for the tab
- Performance timing and JS heap memory (where exposed)
- API availability flags (USB, Bluetooth, HID, serial, XR, share, credentials, service worker) — presence only, not device contents
Browsers do not expose your OS username or laptop hostname to websites. We cannot collect those fields.
When the form reaches our server, we additionally log the following technical request data:
- Your IP address (from x-forwarded-for, x-real-ip, cf-connecting-ip, or true-client-ip)
- Forwarded proto/host/port, Host, Via, CDN-Loop, and request IDs when present
- Request headers: User-Agent, Accept*, Referer, Origin, DNT, Sec-GPC, Cache-Control, Priority
- Client Hints headers (sec-ch-ua*, viewport, DPR, device-memory, prefers-color-scheme) when the browser sends them
- Fetch metadata (sec-fetch-site/mode/dest/user)
- Cloudflare / edge metadata when available: country, city, continent, region, postal code, latitude/longitude, timezone, ASN, bot score, JA3/JA4, CF-Ray, and related CF headers
This metadata is used strictly to:
- Reply to your message at the email address you provided
- Reproduce and debug bug reports (browser, device, locale, network conditions)
- Detect and prevent spam, abuse, and automated submissions
- Maintain a basic audit trail of legitimate support requests
Submissions are forwarded to our private email inbox via our mailer service and retained only as long as needed to handle your request and keep a record of legitimate correspondence. We never sell, rent, or share contact-form data with any third party for marketing.
🍪 This marketing website may also use analytics tools (Google Ads measurement, Microsoft Clarity, and Yandex Metrika) — but only if you accept analytics cookies. See Cookies & Consent and the sections below. The only data sent directly to us is what you submit through the contact form, plus the technical metadata listed above.
Cookies & Consent
The first time you visit, a banner asks what you allow. Nothing optional is loaded before you answer — if you reject, or simply never answer, no analytics script is downloaded and no analytics cookie is set. There are two categories:
These make the site work and can't be switched off. For an ordinary visitor, this site sets no tracking cookies in this category — the things it remembers are kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to a server:
- budgetify-consent (local storage) — your cookie choice and when you made it, so you aren't asked on every page.
- budgetify-theme (local storage) — whether you picked light or dark mode.
- admin_token (cookie, 1 hour) — only ever set if we sign in to the private admin area. It is never set for visitors.
- Cloudflare security cookies (e.g.
__cf_bm,_cfuvid) — may be set by Cloudflare, which fronts this site, to distinguish humans from bots and protect against attack.
Three tools, described in detail in the next sections. If you accept, they set first- and third-party cookies such as:
- Microsoft Clarity —
_clck(about 1 year) and_clsk(about 1 day), plus identifiers such asCLID,MUIDandANONCHKset on Microsoft domains. - Yandex Metrika —
_ym_uidand_ym_d(about 1 year),_ym_isad(about 1 day), and_ym_visorc(about 30 minutes, used by session replay). - Google Ads measurement (gtag.js) — Google may set cookies or use similar technologies as described in Google's partner sites policy.
Exact cookie names and lifetimes are set by Microsoft, Yandex, and Google and can change without notice — their own documentation, linked below, is always the authoritative list.
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. You can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, at any time, and withdrawal takes effect immediately for anything loaded afterwards. Withdrawing does not undo processing that already, lawfully, happened while consent was active. Clearing your browser storage also resets the banner. To remove analytics cookies already on your device, clear cookies in your browser settings.
Microsoft Clarity
Only loads if you accept analytics cookies. If you do, we partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with this marketing website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve our website and how we present Budgetify: Money Manager. Website usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies. We do not use Microsoft Advertising on this website, and Clarity data is never used to target you with ads.
Session replay means Clarity can record how you move, scroll, and click on public marketing pages, and reconstruct that as a playback of your visit. Text you type into the contact form is masked by Clarity by default and is not intended to be captured in replays. Microsoft acts as an independent controller of this data under its own terms.
For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Yandex Metrika
Only loads if you accept analytics cookies. Yandex Metrika measures page views, traffic sources, and how visitors move through this marketing website. As configured here it enables Webvisor (session replay), click maps, accurate bounce tracking, and link tracking — so, like Clarity, it can reconstruct a playback of visits to public pages.
Yandex is a Russian-headquartered company, and data collected by Metrika may be processed on servers in the Russian Federation and other countries, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your own jurisdiction. This transfer happens only if you accept analytics cookies. If you would rather it did not happen, reject analytics — the site works identically either way.
Typical cookies include _ym_uid / _ym_d (about 1 year) and _ym_visorc (about 30 minutes, used by session replay). Exact names and lifetimes are set by Yandex and may change.
For more information, see the Yandex Privacy Policy and the Yandex Metrica terms of use.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data only to provide and improve the Budgetify: Money Manager experience. Specifically:
- To display your wallets, transactions, and net worth within the app
- To track income, expenses, and transfers between wallets
- To calculate balances, net worth, and visual charts accurately
- To schedule and process recurring transactions automatically or manually
- To back up and restore your data via Google Drive or local storage (if enabled)
- To manage your subscription status via RevenueCat
- To serve relevant ads via Google AdMob (free tier only)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with any third party for marketing purposes.
Data Storage & Security
All financial data entered into Budgetify: Money Manager is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data does not transit our servers — we have no backend database storing your transactions.
Your data lives in your device's private app storage. It is not accessible to other apps and is permanently removed when you uninstall Budgetify: Money Manager.
Budgetify: Money Manager operates entirely offline. We do not run servers that store, process, or transmit your financial data. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable a backup.
⚠️ We strongly recommend enabling Google Drive backup or saving a local backup regularly to prevent data loss from device failure or app uninstall.
Backups & Encryption
Budgetify: Money Manager supports two backup options, both protected with strong encryption so only the app can read your data.
Every backup file — whether saved locally or to Google Drive — is encrypted using AES-256. No third party, including us, can read the contents of your backup without the app.
Save an encrypted backup directly to your device storage at any time. Available to all users, including the free tier.
Encrypted backups are uploaded to the hidden app folderof your personal Google Drive — invisible to other apps and only accessible by Budgetify: Money Manager. Google's privacy policy governs this storage.
Pro subscribers can schedule automatic backups at custom intervals and configure how many backup versions to retain. Your backup history is viewable and any version can be restored at any time.
Google Services
Budgetify: Money Manager integrates with the following Google services, each governed by Google's Privacy Policy:
Used optionally for authentication when enabling Google Drive backup. We request only the minimum permissions needed: your account ID, display name, and Drive app folder access.
Used exclusively to read and write your encrypted backup file to the hidden app-specific folder. We never access any other files in your Drive.
Used to display advertisements on the free tier. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalised ads. See Section 07 for more details.
Advertising
Free tier users may see banner advertisements powered by Google AdMob. These ads help us keep the app free for everyone.
- AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to serve relevant ads
- You may see a consent prompt depending on your region (GDPR / US state laws)
- You can opt out of personalised ads via your device's ad settings
- Ads are completely removed for Pro, Lifetime, and Ad-Free subscribers
Budgetify: Money Manager does not directly share any personal or financial data with advertisers. AdMob's data collection is governed by Google's Advertising Policy.
In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Budgetify: Money Manager offers optional paid plans (Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly, Lifetime Pro, Ad-Free) processed through the Google Play Store and managed by RevenueCat.
All payment transactions are handled entirely by Google Play. We never receive or store your payment card information.
We use RevenueCat to track subscription status and entitlements. RevenueCat may store your Google account ID as a subscriber identifier. Their privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Children's Privacy
Budgetify: Money Manager is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.
Your Rights
Since your data lives on your device, you have full control at all times:
- Access — All your data is directly visible within the app
- Export — Use local or Google Drive backup to export your encrypted data file
- Delete — Use Settings → Reset App to permanently wipe all local data
- Portability — Your backup file is yours to keep and restore on any device
- Google Data — Revoke Budgetify: Money Manager's Google Drive access anytime via your Google Account settings
🇪🇺 If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to erasure and data portability. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app.
Continued use of Budgetify: Money Manager after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
